When did HA start and who made it?

Horse Academy is an online game that originated on Facebook and consisted of 2-dimensional graphics. It was created by Andrew Starnes in April 2010. The game has since evolved into a 3-dimensional, multi-platform game enjoyed by players of all ages from all over the world!

Who does the breed designs?

Camilla Marie Andresen (Camilla-Marie in Chat) is the Horse Graphics Designer for HA3D.

How do I become a mod?

It is a process involving the other Mods and the Admin/Creator of the Game. Qualifications include being over the age of 18, having a calm and good attitude, working well with people, being trustworthy, and abiding by the rules. This is only a part of what is looked for in a good Mod. There must also be a need for a Mod in your time zone. People who repeatedly ask about becoming a Mod are not chosen. Right now, there is no need for more mods.

How do you get foals, how long does it take, and where is the foal I just bought?

If you breed two horses together, you get a foal. The foal will take 12hrs to be born if you do not have club, and 2hrs if you do (you can place it in a stable immediately). All horses on market will be born (you can not sell unborn foals on the market). If you buy a horse in chat from another player, it could be a foal that is not born yet. Go to the “Compete” tab to see when the foal will be born. A level 1 horse (foal) is 70% of an adult's size. The foal gets 3% larger per level until it reaches it's full size at level 10.

Why can’t I race or breed my horse?

Mares bought off the market could be pregnant, and you may have to wait up to 12hrs/2hrs before they can be raced or bred. If you did not breed the mare on your ranch, the foal will go to the player who bred (created) it. Mares and Stallions can’t be raced after the age of 15. Mares are unbreedable after age 15 (stallions have no age limit for breeding).

I am encountering lots of bugs- races won’t work, I can’t open the game, or I keep getting disconnected from the game. What do I do?

When races do not work, this is mainly a connection issue with the game server. Some things to try include: refreshing your game, checking your personal internet/wifi connection, and reopening the game using Facebook Game Room (most stable game play). If this does not help, select the “Community Page” tab in the top right-hand corner of the Chat screen to report the issue on the FB Community Page. This is the fastest and most reliable way to report an issue.

What is a Special Horse?

There are several different types of horses that can not be bred using vitamins, these are all special horses. These include: Unique Horses

1. Raffle Intentionals (Between 1 to 4 of a kind exist per breed for HA 3D raffle horses). There are a few "forum raffle" intentionals in the game that were won from raffles held on HA forums for HA 2D. These horses do not have a breed name under the horse name, but their designs are also unique.
2. 4000LP Intentionals (A horse that a player designs and purchases from Andrew, or occasionally a pre-designed one of a kind horse available in the store).

• Reward Horses: Horses bought in the Store for Loyalty Points (LP, they look like ribbons).

• Limited Edition Horses: Horses that were either only available to be bred for a short time, or horses that were only available in the Reward Store for a short time.

• Ticket Horses: These horses were purchased using Tickets earned from winning races on old HA. These have since been turned into 100 ticket raffle horses on 3D. A new 100 ticket raffle horse is added with every new raffle.

• Daily Spin Horses: Horses earned by spinning the wheel for a specified number of consecutive days.
• Oops Oopses are horses that had more than one rare coat/overlay/main/tail. They were an equip accident that happened on old HA 2d. An example would be a white tiger with a golden horse main and tail.
