Training:

Training is a good way to earn some extra cash or horse/s. You can offer your services in chat. If you are a new trainer, offer to train from level 1-10 for a set price. Current average price for a trainer is 100k per level for the first 10 levels (this may change with time depending on the HA 3D Economy). Sometimes, people might be willing to give you a horse in exchange for training one of theirs to an agreed upon level. For your safety and for the safety of the other player, always request a contract on the horse that you are to train. If you lose internet connection or other problems arise and you are unable to reenter the game, the other player’s horse on your ranch will return to them after the contract is over. In order to get a good reputation, try to finish leveling the horse on or before the agreed upon finish time. To make sure it’s fair and to show that you are trustworthy, either request payment after the horse has been trained, or ask for half up front and half after.

Breeding popular rares:

Pay attention to the HA Chat Room and see what rare breeds are requested most often (in demand). If someone in chat is asking for a rare that you have the ability to breed, ask their price range first before trying to breed a horse for them. Check the Pricing Guideto make sure that you are getting a fair price. Keep in mind, most people are willing to pay a bit more than normal if you are able to breed them exactly what they want.

Getting your brand out there:

Try to purchase a brand as quickly as possible. However, getting ranch certificates should be your top priority. The more horses you have, the easier it will be to make your brand well-known. Once you can hold a respectable amount of horses (I would say 12 or more, but this is a personal opinion), then purchase your brand in the store, and start breeding foals.

Come up with an original brand name that you have not seen used in the game. Once purchased, all of the horses you have bred will automatically have your brand added to their information.

“Good” brands are those whose owners are polite, helpful, and sell their horses for fair prices. If you are brand new or are trying to take your Brand in a new direction, try giving some horses out for free (I wouldn’t give out horses to people begging, but anyone who is offering to pay a really low amount might be a good candidate to get a free horse).

The more horses of your Brand that are out there, the more well known you will become! You can choose to specialize in high talent point horses, rares, horses meant for championships, flat track bully horses, or a little bit of everything! The great news is that this is YOUR brand, and you get to choose what to do with it!

HA Forum Contests:

Horse Academy Competitions

Occasionally, there are contests which are held on the forums. These competitions that are held are usually racing or breeding or racing and breeding combined. Sometimes there are raffles and name competitions. Anyone can hold these competitions and there are many prizes that can be won from these competitions including: forum signatures, horses, money and sometimes AD.

Help new players/reduce chat drama, let the mods mod:

Improving your reputation on Horse Academy not only helps you but also helps the game overall. We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience, and to keep playing. Having an HA family environment is very fun and inviting to new players. If you see a player having trouble in chat, offer a suggestion. Try not to gang up on new players (so if someone has already answered their question, let it be!), and if you see a player being disrespectful or breaking the chat rules (Chat Rules), it is best to select that player’s name and mute them. Refrain from talking about muting them in chat, as this causes more drama. In other words, do not engage with the hostile enemy (yes, we have jokes!). Trading or challenging another player without asking is considered impolite as that player may be in the middle of showjumping or other activity in HA. Always ask permission to trade or challenge a player first.
